Bye 2016
For many of us 2016 has been a great year. This year we were able to discover and inovate a lot of things in science and technology. We were able to detect gravitational waves thanks to LIGO.
We were able to find numerous different species of animals and insects and, were able to disapprove many myths in daily and scientific lives. There is still a lot to discover but we accomplished a lot this year.

Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is a really tasty festival for a food lover like me. Yeah it's Thanksgiving and I am super excited for it, I mean I was a month ago, but what ever. But tomorrow is Christmas eve and I am gonna do my best to publish about it on time, and not a month after like the last ones. But over all we are going to have fun and we will learn a lot, so not waiting any more time let's go.

Halloween
Hay guys it's Halloween, we'll it was, a month ago but I thought why not do it any way. So we all love Halloween but have you ever wondered how Halloween came into existence. Well I'll tell you, but firstly you should get some popcorn cause it's going be be fun.
So to remember how Halloween reached or calenders I use a really fun story and I think you would like it too. So here is how it goes...

Global Dignity Day
Global Dignity Day takes place in schools on the third Wednesday of October each year. It is carried out in the Middle East, Europe, Asia, Oceania, Africa and the Americas. Thousands of volunteers act as guides and facilitators, leading the students in a conversation about dignity. The aim is to make the concept of dignity tangible and understandable for each and every student. Defining dignity in their own words and sharing stories from their own lives gives students ownership of the concept.

Juno in orbet of the Giant
Juno is a NASA New Frontiers mission currently orbiting the planet Jupiter. Juno was launched from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station on August 5, 2011, and arrived on July 4, 2016. The spacecraft is in a polar orbit to study Jupiter's composition, gravity field, magnetic field, and polar magnetosphere.
After an almost five-year journey to the solar system’s largest planet, NASA's Juno spacecraft successfully entered Jupiter’s orbit during a 35-minute engine burn. Confirmation that the burn had completed was received on Earth at 8:53 pm. PDT (11:53 p.m. EDT) Monday, July 4.

Radiations, Light And Rays
Infrared Radiation and Light
when a radiant heater or grill is switched on you can detect the infrared radiations coming from it by the heating effects it produces in your skin. in fact all objects emit some infrared because of the motion of their atoms or molecules. most radiate a wide range of wavelengths.
As an object heats up, it radiates more and more infrared and shorter wavelengths. about 700 degree celsius the shortest wavelength radiated can be detected by the eye so the objects glows 'red hot'. above about 1000c the whole of the visible spectrum is covered so the object is 'hot white'.
Short wavelengths infrared is often called 'infrared light' even though it is invisible. however strictly speaking light is just the part of the elctromagnetic spectrum that is visible to the eye.Security alarms and lamps can be switched on by motion sensors that pick up the changing pattern of infarred caused by an approching person. At night, photograps can be taken using infarred. In telephone networks, signals are sent along optical fibers as puless of infarred 'light'.And remote controllers TVs video recoders work by trasmitting infarred puleses.

Radio waves
Stars are natural images of radio waves. However, radio waves can be produced artificially by making a current oscillate in transmitting aerial (antenna). In a simple radio system a microphone controls the current it to the aerial so that the radio waves 'pulsate'. In the radio receiver, the incoming pulsations control a loudspeaker so that it produces a copy of the original sound. Radio waves are also used to transmit TV pictures.

The Lost Symbol
Famed harvard symbologist Robert langdon answers some unexpected summons to appear at the U.S capitol building. His planned lecture is interrupted when a disturbing object is found baring five different symbols. After knowing that his mentor peter solomon is kidnapped, the only way to save him was to obey the commands of his ceptor. To do so langdon has to enter the exotic Masonic world and decrypter an ancient mystical pyramid. There are people to help him along the way. London times has judged it right, this is a book impossible to put down. believe me!

What happens when a liquid freezes
In order to melt the ice, thermal energy is needed to break the strong inter-molecular bonds of the water molecules (and hence increase the internal potential energy).
Conversely, when the particles of a liquid come together in freezing, strong bonds are formed. As the strong bonds form, internal potential energy decreases, the thermal energy is released and lost in the surrounding. Since the eternal kinetic energy does not change the temperature does not continue to fall when the liquid is freezing (i.e. during solidification)
The thermal energy that is released during solidification, as the thermal energy absorbed during melting, is called the latent heat of fusion of a substance.
The Science Behind An Air Conditioner
Air are always installed near the ceiling of room to facilitate the setting up the convection currents. An air conditioner releases cool, dry air into the room. The cool air is denser, it sinks. Warm air below, being less dense rises and is drawn into the air conditioner, where it is cooled. In this way, the cool air is circulated and the temperature of the air in the room will eventually drop.

How is mass measured?
When we say an elephant weighs more than a cheetah, we are comparing the gravitational forces acting on them. The weighing scale is simply an instrument that allows us to measure and compare the gravitational forces acting on them. So why do are weighing scales measure in kilograms not in newtons? and are our common weighing scales wrong?
Common weighing instruments like the electronic balance or spring Balance and bathroom scales actually measure the weight of an object, not its mass these machines, however, are calibrated to give readings in grams or kilograms.

Gravitational Waves
Gravitational waves are disturbation in space-time, the very fabric of the universe, that travel at the speed of light. The waves are emitted by any mass that is changing speed or direction. The simplest example is a binary system, wherea pair of stars or compact objects (like black holes) orbit their common center of mass.

Transport
Have you ever wondered how the things that are made elsewhere in the world landed in your country without you having to leave your country? Some of these things have traveled a long way to reach you. They have probably crossed oceans and mountains to arrive at your country. Transportation has helped to deliver the things to you. Transportation means the moving of people and goods from one place to another.
Consequences Of Pollution
Water pollution endangers the life of animals and plants in affected rivers and seas. Toxic chemicals washed into the water destroy aquatic animals and plants. Those chemicals that do not destroy the organisms remain in them and these are passed on to other animals along the food chain. Eventually, human beings are afflicted as they are part of the food chain. High levels of mercury in the sea , for example, affects the micro organisms found in the water. The mercury gets into the fish that feeds on the micro organisms. the mercury gets into the human body when they eat the fish. mercury in substantial amount is harmful to living organisms including people.
What is Pollution?
Pollution is the introduction of substances into the atmosphere that has damaging effects on living things and the environment. Pollution can be from natural sources such as volcanic eruptions and forest fires. Human activities however are responsible for the most of the pollution. Some substances are odorless and colourless like some gases. Other substances are visible to the naked eye and some even emit smell.
Substances that are harmful to living things and the environment can be introduced on land, in water and the air. the main types of pollution are land, water and air pollution. These substances include carbon dioxide associated with cars, power plants and fossil fuel burning, methane, chlorofluorocarbon and sulfur dioxide.
