Transport

Have you ever wondered how the things that are made elsewhere in the world landed in your country without you having to leave your country? Some of these things have traveled a long way to reach you. They have probably crossed oceans and mountains to arrive at your country. Transportation has helped to deliver the things to you. Transportation means the moving of people and goods from one place to another.

Transportation is one of the most important activities worldwide. It helps to connect regions and people in different parts of the world, be it for social or economic reasons. the development of transport has, in fact, played an important role in the rise of civilisation. The rise of Egypt and China would not have taken place if not for the growth of transportation. The Silk road, a network of across the Asian continent, links Asia with Northeast Africa and Europe in the ancient times.
